LaRyn Martin, DPT, CMT

LaRyn Martin began her education at Montana State University Bozeman where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2004. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana and graduated in 2007. LaRyn advanced her knowledge by doing further course work and became a Certified Manual Therapist (CMT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients, but specializes in post op orthopedic care, running injuries, foot/ankle disorders, overuse injuries, spine rehab, and athletic rehabilitation. She utilizes a technique known as ASTYM to treat chronic tendonopathies and movement restrictions. She has found this technique to be the most effective way to treat painful conditions such as IT Band tendonitis, plantarfasciitis, and tennis elbow.  LaRyn is the only practicing ASTYM therapist in the Helena area. LaRyn and her husband Damon just relocated to Helena from Missoula and they look forward to exploring the area and enjoying all of the outdoor recreational opportunities. Together they have two sons Max and Kai, and dog, Igor. LaRyn enjoys spending her free time outdoors, doing crafty things, hanging out with friends and family and talking about food.
